Practice Information: Independent, outpatient only, well established practice in northeastern Maryland seeking 1 full time BC/BE family physician to join 2 physician/ 2 PA-C.   Our advanced care practice ensures agile decision making.  DEA registration and Maryland state licensure required.  Practice opportunity highlights include:

•  Challenging medically diverse, newborn to geriatric, outpatient community medicine w/ opportunities for minor surgeries, POC ultrasound; joint & other injections, gyn procedures, IUD placement, and house calls.  
• Structured 15 and 30-minute appointments with volume ramp up to average of 20 patients per day
• 32.5 average patient hours/week; 4.5 days/week.  No weekend office hours
• Ambient Scribe; Imbedded office-based IT and systems support providing streamlined workflow
• Utilizing services from 3 hospital systems, 30 minutes from world class tertiary care
• Telephone based shared call 1 in 6 (Providers’ spouses attest to the rare middle of the night calls )
• Care manager support within PCMH structure (You don’t have to be a social worker here.)
• Volunteer services (optional) on rotation at co-located Clínica Médica Primaria de Rising Sun once a week walk-in clinic for underserved Latin American community 
• Partnership opportunity after 2-year employment.  (Partners’ practice income in top 25% of FPs.) 
   

Geographic Information: Rising Sun (population 2,780) is a residential community and small business hub, located in northeastern Maryland on a rural stretch along I-95.    

•       15-30 minutes from multiple river and Chesapeake Bay access points and hiking trails.  
•       Uncongested commuting, small towns, farms, Amish
•       One hour from Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Lancaster, PA, and 2 international airports

Our practice:   We strive to maintain an atmosphere that provides consistently competent and timely patient care, cultivates provider skills, fosters creativity, nurtures teamwork, and allows for sustained personal well-being. Our practice has a faith-friendly atmosphere in which faith issues are freely and openly discussed among staff and patients, as relationships develop.  Every morning starts with an all-staff morning huddle, review of patients’ transitions of care, and prayer.  All-office birthday celebrations and holiday parties are common.  Stone Run has received several awards as an advanced care practice and has been part of several advanced primary care initiatives.  Patient-centered whole-person care is maintained with provider centric workflows and dedicated medical assistant for each physician.  We have many community resource promotions, including one featured in the Family Practice Management March 2019 journal.

Salary:                              `                   $245,000 plus 33% of attributable income in excess of expenses
